Contoh:
Sebuah sumber bunyi A menghasilkan gelombang berjalan dengan cepat rambat 80 m/det, frekuensi 20 Hz den amplitudo 10 cm. Hitunglah fase den simpangan titik B yang berjarak 9 meter dari titik A, pada saat titik Asudah bergetar 16 kali !
Jawab:
f = 20 Hz ® perioda gelombang : T = 1/20 = 0,05 detik
panjang gelombang: l = v/f = 80/20 = 4 m
titik A bergetar 16 kali waktu getar t = 16/20 = 0,8 detik
| fase titik B: FB = t/T - x/l = 0,8/0,05 - 9/4 = 13 ¾ = ¾ (ambil pecahaanya) | simpangan titik B: YB = A sin 2p (t/T - x/l) = 10 sin 2p (¾) = 10 sin 270 = -10 cm |
