Imbas Elektromagnetik - Definisi, Rumus, Pengertian dan Pembahasan

Imbas elektromagnetik adalah terjadinya arus listrik dalam suatu penghantar akibat adanya perubahan medan magnet. Arus yang terjadi disebut arus imbas atau arus induksi ® diselidiki oleh Faraday.

 

• GGL (GAYA GERAK LISTRIK) INDUKSI
  
  Bila sebuah penghantar dengan panjang l digerakkan dengan kecepatan v di dalam medan magnet B, tegak lurus terhadap arah medan, maka akan timbul GGL induksi di ujung-ujung penghantar sebesar:

• HUKUM FARADAY 
  
  Jika fluks magnet (F) yang menembus suatu kumparan berubah-ubah, maka akan timbul GGL INDUKSI sebesar:
  
  e = - N dF/dt
  
  N =jumlah lilitan kumparan
  dF =perubahan fluks
  dt = perubahan waktu
  
  Arah arus induksi den GGL yang timbul, ditentakan berdasarkan hukam Lenz den aturan tangan kanan.
  
  Jika keempat jari dikepalkan dari arah v ke arah B. make arah ibu jari menunjukkan arah arus imbas I.
  
  
  


• HUKUM LENZ
  
  Arah arus induksi selalu melawan sebab/penyebab yang menimbulkannya. Bila arus tersebut berubah-ubah, maka fluks magnet yang timbul juga akan berubah-ubah, sehingga menimbulkan GGL induksi sebesar:
  
  e = - L dI/dt
  
  L = induksi diri (satuan SI = Henry)
  dI/dt = perubahan arus pada selang waktu dt
  
  Hubungan hukum Faraday dengan hukum Lenz, menghasilkan:
  
  L = N dF/dI
  
  L = mo AN²/l
  
  L = Induksi diri
  A = penampangToroida/Solenoida
  l = panjang Toroida/Solenoida
  
  Energi (W) yang tersimpan pada induktor: W = ½ L I²
  
  
  Perubahan I₁ akan menimbulkan F₁, selanjutnya menimbulkan perubahanF₂, akibatnya timbul GGL induksi pada kumparan 2.
  Begitu pula sebaliknya.
  
  e₁ = M dI₂/dt
  e₂ = M dI₁/dt
  
  dengan M = induksi bolak-balik.
